PL-5050 Plasma Surface Treatment System for PE bottles

The inkjet code or print on PE bottles can have poor quality results during the printing and coding process, based on the low adhesion of the material surface where the ink is not able to adhere properly.

Manufacturers have made a variety of attempts, such as replacing the ink with higher adhesion or the use of hot pressure methods to imprint labels, etc., but these methods not only can’t solve problem fundamentally but also involve other problems. Although replacing the ink with higher adhesion, it will lead to the failure of the inkjet printer, and the thermal pressure rule is low efficiency, poor quality and easy to cause environmental pollution.

The plasma surface treatment process can easily solve this problem. There are often organic substances such as grease, oil stains, and oxide layers on the surface of PE bottles. Plasma pre-treatment is required to obtain a clean, oxide-free surface prior to inkjet printing or encoding. A series of physical and chemical reactions will occur when the plasma is extracted on the surface of the material. The physical reaction is that the active particles bombard the surface to be cleaned so that the pollutants are removed from the surface and the pollutants are discharged; the chemical reaction is that various active particles react with the pollutants to generate volatile chemical substances, and then achieve the purpose of cleaning.

PL-5050 Plasma Surface Treatment System is widely used in the printing and packaging, electronics, plastic, automotive, and inkjet coding industry. For example, the pretreatment of various complex materials such as metals, semiconductors, rubber, glass, and circuit boards.

PL-5050 Plasma Surface Treatment System can be equipped with 4 various types of nozzles based on the treatment width which can be 20mm, 30mm, 50mm, or 70mm respectively.

We will select suitable nozzles according to the specific processing requirements of the product, and provide our customers with the optimal solution.
