Sin embargo, su energ\u00eda superficial extremadamente baja lo convierte en uno de los pol\u00edmeros m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles de imprimir, adherir o recubrir. Las piezas impresas deb\u00edan alcanzar un \u00e1ngulo de contacto con el agua inferior a 80\u00b0 y, al mismo tiempo, superar con \u00e9xito una exigente prueba de resistencia al alcohol de 400 ciclos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Desarrollo de procesos de plasma<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para cumplir con estos requisitos, la aplicaci\u00f3n se desarroll\u00f3 utilizando un sistema de plasma al vac\u00edo Keylink con un proceso de tratamiento de plasma de dos etapas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La primera etapa consisti\u00f3 en un pretratamiento de 180 segundos utilizando una mezcla de gases de arg\u00f3n (Ar) 95% e hidr\u00f3geno (H\u2082) 5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este plasma elimin\u00f3 eficazmente los contaminantes org\u00e1nicos, los residuos del procesamiento y las capas l\u00edmite d\u00e9biles de la superficie de PTFE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La adici\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno mejor\u00f3 la eficacia de la limpieza al contribuir a la reducci\u00f3n de los \u00f3xidos superficiales y mejorar la eliminaci\u00f3n de contaminantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tras la fase de limpieza, los tubos se activaron utilizando plasma de amon\u00edaco (NH\u2083) 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El tiempo de tratamiento con amon\u00edaco se vari\u00f3 hasta alcanzar una duraci\u00f3n total del proceso de 840 segundos para evaluar la influencia del tiempo de tratamiento en la activaci\u00f3n de la superficie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El plasma de NH\u2083 introduce grupos funcionales que contienen nitr\u00f3geno en la superficie del PTFE, al tiempo que aumenta la energ\u00eda superficial del material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta modificaci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica mejora significativamente la humectabilidad y crea sitios activos para una adhesi\u00f3n duradera de la tinta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El proceso optimizado produjo resultados de tratamiento excelentes y altamente reproducibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rendimiento de activaci\u00f3n de superficie<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El PTFE sin tratar present\u00f3 un \u00e1ngulo de contacto con el agua de \u2265104\u00b0, lo que confirma sus caracter\u00edsticas superficiales altamente hidrof\u00f3bicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tras tan solo 300 segundos de tratamiento con plasma de NH\u2083, el \u00e1ngulo de contacto disminuy\u00f3 dr\u00e1sticamente hasta \u22647,0\u00b0.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta reducci\u00f3n representa un aumento de la energ\u00eda superficial suficiente para una excelente humectaci\u00f3n por parte de las tintas de impresi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La relaci\u00f3n entre el tiempo de tratamiento con amon\u00edaco y el \u00e1ngulo de contacto se ilustra en el diagrama de proceso adjunto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A medida que aumentaba el tiempo de tratamiento, el \u00e1ngulo de contacto disminu\u00eda gradualmente hasta alcanzar la m\u00e1xima activaci\u00f3n de la superficie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La superficie de PTFE tratada 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Estabilidad de almacenamiento<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tras el tratamiento con plasma, las muestras activadas se almacenaron en condiciones normales de laboratorio para evaluar el envejecimiento de la superficie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inmediatamente despu\u00e9s del tratamiento, el \u00e1ngulo de contacto medido fue de aproximadamente 7,0\u00b0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tras un minuto de almacenamiento, la superficie mantuvo su nivel m\u00e1ximo de activaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Como era de esperar en los materiales de fluoropol\u00edmero, se produjo una recuperaci\u00f3n parcial de la hidrofobicidad durante el almacenamiento.
